Ziggy made it to the border of Canada on our epic international 2018 camping trip!
While parking in New Brunswick we explored the incredible Bay of Fundy in Nova Scotia!
Initial scene from the “visitor center” as we made our approach. This photo shows some of the swirls created by the change in direction of the river at the Gosse Bridge location.
Bay of Fundy at Burntcoat Head Park in Nova Scotia when the tide was at its lowest point during the morning low. On this day it hit high tide at 44 feet around noontime and then the returned to low tide and by late afternoon had again reached high tide at 44 feet. The twice daily tide swing on somedays reaches a high of 54 feet.
One of my 70D fabulous masterpieces!
(captured the great lighting there)
Surreal & gorgeous to be standing there!
View from our local lunch spot, (a rare and difficult to find place) on the road, north of Halifax. (above)
Our campsite scene changed that day with the arrival of the Airstream club…
