Near our home we have a restful spot Rosemary Beach. Many of our milestones memories have been there and I chose this as my waking spot on the day I enter a new decade! (and for now in some versions of this post, one of the above pics is just upside down, no matter what.)
I love that there we meet up with longtime friends. This time Melody and Bud joined us for dinner at Pescado Rooftop Restaurant in Rosemary.

The surf there is just lovely. Beautiful clear water, cool in May but not cold.
Inspiration can be found at the pools and everywhere there, through the architecture, magnificent palm tress, and brilliant blue skies!
Neighboring Rosemary is Alys Beach, quite the gem. A Venetian style village with condos, a canal and sculptures along the way to Caliza Restaurant.
The experience at Caliza Restaurant from the embiance, service and masterfully prepared food is the best of the best!

And yes, there is a gorgeous pool in the center of the restaurant…can’t wait to return!
The following morning my mom joined us for an amazing day on the beach, perfect sand, sun and water…along with SPF and hats!
