The first time I saw this puppy’s face I thought he was the cutest dog I’d ever seen. Kipper came to live with us 14 years ago this month, on October 8, 2002 to be exact! For many reasons he was just what the doctor ordered. Like all souls he is imperfect but we wouldn’t trade him for anything! In January 2017 he will be 15 years old…#shihtzulife
“A boy and his dog!- Fall 2002” He obviously is Andy’s dog. And often while Andy attended the neighborhood school Kipper would go along for the walk to school. Recently I missed commenting on “National/World Walk to School Day 2016”-but this would have been perfect for it! He is a sturdy Shihtzu, in the 90 percentile for that breed and has always “appeared to think” he is one of “the big dogs!.” He will not be babied unless he is sick or injured & never sits still. Kipper came to us as a gift from the children’s piano teacher, who is also a real dog lover.
